Honeydrum - Traci’s on the Phone
As far as 80’s pop pastiches go this has to be a pinnacle of perfection. The visuals blend so seamlessly with the music that you’re immediately transported back to a time gone by. It’s so convincing that i’m left wondering if that ‘telephone’ isn’t in fact a portal to a neon highway that joins the 80s to the present day, down which Pleasures Of The Sun have successfully travelled in order to peddle their new (or 25 year old) EP. A quick look at video creator, Behind the Walk-in’s, vimeo suggests these suspicions may not be unfounded.
